Key Elements of the Admission Test
The IBA MBA Admission Test consists of two crucial components: the Written Test and the Interview. Let’s delve into the details of each stage:
Written Test
The Written Test aims to evaluate your aptitude in three key areas: English Language & Communication, Mathematics, and Analytical Ability. To pass this test, you must achieve a minimum qualifying score in each of these areas. Only those who meet these criteria will proceed to the interview stage, which is an essential part of the admission process.
Interview
Once you’ve successfully cleared the Written Test, your next step is the interview with our esteemed board. This interview is a chance for us to get to know you better, learn about your aspirations, and assess your suitability for the MBA program.
Special Considerations
If you hold a foreign nationality and have foreign university degree(s), you may be exempted from the Written Test if you have a GMAT score that ranks in the top 75 percentile. However, all applicants, regardless of their exemption status, are required to participate in the interview process.
For those with foreign certificates or degrees (excluding O Level and A Level qualifications), the Equivalence Committee of IBA will determine equivalence. Please note that without this equivalence, you will not be eligible to apply for the admission test.
Furthermore, applicants with degrees from programs that are not approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) are not eligible to apply for the IBA admission test.
Application Details
To complete your application, an application fee of Tk. 2080.00/- is required, which includes online processing fees. The deadline for submitting your application is Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
